These trips started as Fathers and Sons trips then evolved into Fathers and Kids because so many girls wanted to join in the fun and is now the Parent and Kids trip because so many woman want to join the fun. Women/girls and men/boys not in the same family will have separate rooms. This is the trip to sign up for if only one parent in a two parent home can come on the trip. (ages 12 and older). Trips include: 1) Daily service by building a home for a homeless family, 2) A Mexican fiesta with traditional Mexican performers and abundant Mexican food.3) Eating at the 2nd best taco stand in Tijuana, and4) Evening activities.

These trips are designed for young single adults (ages 18-30). We will spend 3 days providing service to an orphanage. Women and men have separate sleeping quarters.
These trips are designed for families (ages 8 and older) and include: 1) Daily service by building a home for a homeless family, 2) A Mexican fiesta with abundant Mexican food. 3) Eating at the 2nd best taco stand in Tijuana, and 4) Evening activities.
On this Family Service Trip we be in Tijuana for 4 days. Day 1 (Sunday, March 30 at 7:00 am): We will cross the border, go to church, unpack, visit an orphanage and get to know each other. Day 2-4 (Mon, March 31 trough Wed, April 2): We will build a home for a family in need in Tijuana, eat at the "Second Best Taco Stand in Tijuana" and have a fiesta. Day 5 (Thur, April 3): Cross the border early ( arriving in USA around 12:00 noon).
$300 per person. This deposit completes your registration. Once the registration period is over, families will be selected for the trip based on when they completed their registration. If your family is not selected for the trip, you will receive a FULL REFUND. Otherwise, deposits are not refundable.*

$175 per person. This deposit completes your registration. Once the registration period is over, families will be selected for the trip based on when they completed their registration. If your family is not selected for the trip, you will receive a FULL REFUND. Otherwise, deposits are not refundable.*
Travel costs to and from San Diego are your responsibility. Passports are required for individuals 19 years old and older. Participants 18 years old and younger must have proof of citizenship (copy of birth cert + picture ID e.g. driver's license, school ID where possible).
If this service trip is cancelled by Spark of Hope Foundation more than 30 days prior to trip start, you will recieve a full refund of your donation. If this service trip is cancelled by Spark of Hope Foundation 30 days or less from trip start, you will receive the amount of money not yet spent by Spark of Hope Foundation in trip preparation proportional to your family size.
Participants must be at least 8 years of age to attend.
